Album Slimmer ("Album Slimmer," "we," "us," or "our") is an iOS photo-cleaning application provided by Yi Zhang. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use Album Slimmer.

1. Photo and Video Privacy

Album Slimmer needs access to the photo library features you choose to use. Depending on your iOS permission selection, the app may receive access to your full photo library or only selected photos and videos.

Photo and video analysis is performed locally on your device. Album Slimmer uses on-device processing to identify items such as duplicate, similar, blurry, screenshot, portrait, and other cleanup candidates.

We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers, Firebase, Apple Ads, or any advertising platform. We do not use the contents of your photo library for advertising, tracking, analytics, or model training.

When you choose to delete photos or videos, deletion is performed through Apple's Photos framework and requires confirmation through Apple's system interface. Deleted items may remain in the Recently Deleted album according to your iOS Photos settings.

2. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

Album Slimmer may store the following information locally on your device:

• scan results and temporary cleanup metadata;
• selected cleanup items;
• free-cleanup quota and premium entitlement state;
• selected app language;
• onboarding, tutorial, and permission-guidance state;
• cached acquisition-source status returned by Apple Ads.

This local information is used to operate the app and preserve your settings between launches. It is generally removed when the app is deleted, subject to iOS backup and restoration behavior.

3. Analytics and App Usage Data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how Album Slimmer is used and to improve the product. Analytics data may include:

• app launches and onboarding progress;
• permission-flow interactions and permission status categories;
